Current runs proportional to wattage, so the higher the wattage, the higher the current. It also runs inversely to resistance, so the higher the resistance, the lower the current.

Voltage
Voltage is the potential difference between two points. Think of it like this - an electron going through a wire brags to its buddy (another electron) how much work it can do. Before working, it's saying "I can do a ton of work!". And then after doing some work (maybe after passing through a lamp) it says "I can only do this much work now...". The amount of work the electron can do is the voltage drop.
